Well that deninately was not recieved. Upon leaving I did not look at my bill close enough, I just wanted to get the hell out of there.
So when I got home I immediately called about a charge on my bill for the Mohave. We did not dine there or order room service.
As it was all so over priced that we chose to go to more affordable dining. So I question this why was our bill ready so quickly?
Was the desk manager purposely agitating us to leave? Why were we never offer a government rate or asked about it.
When we brought it up to the hotels attention. It was quickly brushed off as not an offer to veterans and we were not entitled to it.
Need I remind these uninformed front desk workers and other hotel staff that if it wasn't for the veterans in our country they wouldn't have the freedoms in our beautiful god given country to be able to do whatever you would like.
So now I thank you for over charging us, ruining a well deserved vacation that we were entitled too.
Never have we ever been treated so poorly anywhere in the wide world. And we are both very well travelled in different places and what a shame in our own back yard to receive such service.

I am certainly glad that our front desk fully accommodated the dates you had requested. We are very sad to hear that you did not enjoy your stay here with us as it is always our hope that all of our guests are able to enjoy the unique experience that we have become very well known for here in Calgary.
In dealing with you during your stay here it was very obvious that your expectations were not met.
I would like to clear up a couple of the misguided concerns you had regarding our property. Our casino does have a section reserved for high limit players however we also have low limit tables, slots, and poker games as well which is also advertised on our website.
We run poker tournaments hourly in the poker room for the convenience of our guests. I would also like to point out that the online reservation you made was through a third party company and the Government rate is not applicable through those sites.
If you had booked your reservation through the hotel or on our website we would have been happy to extend that rate for you.
This was explained to you, however, in speaking with you directly it was clear that you were not interested in any explanations or input from the hotel management including myself.
We wish you would have given us the opportunity to help after the confusion regarding your reservation.
I feel like there was a missed opportunity for your experience with us. We will continue to only allow registered hotel guests in our waterpark and fitness facilities.
All scheduled private birthday parties will be cancelled between November 27 — December 18, Access to the Waterpark can be scheduled with our Front Desk team on a first come and first serve basis.
